HOW TO USE
1. Open a door or window in the space you are to cleanse.
2. Light one end the bundle.
3. Let the smudge bundle stay lit for 20 seconds and then gently blow out or shake until embers appear and it starts to smoke.
4. Start from the back of your space and with windows open, walk through it and with your free hand, feather, or fan, move the smoke coming from the Sage Bundle, continue to hold the smudge stick or place it in a heat proof receptacle (abalone shell) line with sand or salt to catch the ashes instead of holding the sage bundle. If you are going to sage an object just allowed the smoke to cover it.
5. Set your intentions while waving the smoldering smudge bundle around the space or object.
6. when finished, extinguish the smudge bundle by placing the Sage onto a heatproof receptacle or abalone shell, to allow it to naturally go out on its own or snuff it out in salt and store in a dry place.
7. We recommend cleansing your space with Sage as needed, depending on your needs and desire.
Always make sure your smudge stick is fully extinguished after using. Never leave a smudge stick burning unattended. Keep away from all flammable materials. Keep out of the reach of Children and Pets. Always hold smudge stick over a fireproof container (abalone shell) to capture any burning ash or herbs. Not recommended for small spaces with poor air ventilation.
